Clovis Care embodies this part of myself and my time that I choose to devote to those who need it most. Whether it's emergency relief or initiatives for children, it's the need to be on the ground, to act concretely, and to face the realities of the world in order to put people and true priorities back at the center.
Clovis Care is not an organisation: it is simply the name I give to my occasional commitments within associations.
During a trip to Uganda, I reached out to Uganda Hands for Hope, an association protecting children in the Namuwongo slum, a neighborhood of Kampala. A support project and an exhibition are currently in preparation.
To support this work, Clovis Code is developing Namuwise, software for registering children and their families and managing the help they receive.
For nearly three years, I was deeply involved with the orphanage, where I had the chance to teach English to the staff and volunteers, offering them new communication tools to ease their work. At the same time, I supported the children in preparing for a new life, giving French lessons to those about to be adopted by French families.
My commitment was not limited to teaching; I regularly spent time with the youngest ones, bringing them a little human warmth and comfort. These shared moments were essential — they wove real bonds and provided emotional support for children who needed it so much.
Before I left, two children wrote to me, in Thai and in the French they were learning.

As a volunteer firefighter in France, the spirit of cohesion was essential. Every intervention — fires, accidents, emergencies — threw us into immediate action where every second counted. We worked as a team, bound by mutual trust and a common goal: saving lives. Adrenaline gave way to focus, and every decision had to be quick and precise.
This period transformed me deeply on a personal level. Being at the heart of critical situations made me understand life's fragility, but also the incredible strength of a community when it mobilizes. I learned to push myself, to keep calm in the face of chaos, and to always remain ready to act — for the call could come at any moment.
